Mrs. Ethel Mae Lee, 82, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at McLeod Health Clarendon surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Lee was born on November 18, 1941, in Florence County, daughter of the late Tommy Altman and Essie Curry Altman. She was a very bubbly lady, who loved the Lord and all of her family. Mrs. Lee enjoyed cooking and working outside in her flowers.
Surviving are her son, John Day of Lake City; daughter, Ann Yarborough of Coward; grandchildren, Crystal (Chris) Antwine, Kelly Ard, Marah (Brandon) Anderson, Steven Howard, Sydney Day, Joseph Day, Nickolas Day and Alyson Day; great grandchildren, Daniel Day, Rheagan Foxworth, Landon Anderson, Marshall Miles, Averie Anderson, Brook Anderson, Brentley Bay Day, Emsleigh Ann Day, Haleigh Day, Cooper Day, Wyatt Antwine, Dylan Antwine and Ella Antwine; sister, Liz Taylor of Hartsville.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Day; second husband, J. W. Lee; sons, Joseph “Bay” Day and Murry Day; daughter, Teresa “Susie” Hobbs; brother, William “Bill” Altman; sister, Erliene Altman.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Shiloh Church Cemetery, Coward.
