Ms. Eunice Evans Watford, 80, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at McLeod Hospice House.
Ms. Watford was born on September 22, 1944, in Lake City, daughter of the late Tom Evans and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Baxley Evans. She formerly worked at Talon and Walmart. Ms. Eunice greatly enjoyed having a “sister day” each month, when she and her sisters, Juanita and Brenda, would go shopping and enjoy a meal together. She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake.
Surviving are her son, Paul Watford of Scranton; grandchildren, Ryin Wilkes of Elgin, Myshel (Billy) Owens of Florence, Darby Watford and Paul “Ward” Watford, III both of Rembert; great grandchildren, Auriana Martin, Tessa Owens and Veronica Wilkes; sisters, Juanita (James) Floyd and Brenda (Barry) Evans; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
