Frances (White) Anderson

Mrs. Frances White Anderson, 77, wife of Carroll C. Anderson, died Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her residence after an illness. 

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Florence National Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Mrs. Anderson was born on May 18, 1940 in Olanta, daughter of the late Arthur White and Edith Lynch White.  Frances was a devoted Navy wife, loving Mother and Grandmother.  She enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time outdoors.

Surviving are her husband, Carroll C. Anderson of Coward; children, Elaine Matthews, Debbie (Roy) Moore and Rodney C. (Dara) Anderson, all of Coward; grandchildren, Beth (Cliff) Moore of Scranton, Danielle (Jason) McCutcheon, Ashley (Jeremy) Ward and Jenny Lockamy, all of Coward, Alisa (Damien) Bawcum of Gaston, Brittany (Brad) Johannsen of Columbia, Carol Anderson of Elgin; step-grandchildren, Jay McGinnis, Tanya McGinnis, both of Coward and Shawn Moore of Rock Hill; and twelve great grandchildren.

 Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a brother, Aren White, sister, Cherryl

Godwin; and two sons-in-law, Randy Dickerson and Will Matthews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kindred at Home for their excellent care, especially Johnny Parsons and Jack Thompson.
