Mrs. Frances Ray Mouzon, 75, of Kingstree, wife of Laurie Mouzon, Jr, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center.
Mrs. Mouzon was born on September 23, 1948, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late John Henry Ray, Sr. and Frances Harrington Lee Mullins. She was a member of The Little White Church in Greeleyville. Mrs. Mouzon loved her church, church family and especially her family. She retired from Baxter and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Laurie Mouzon, Jr. of Kingstree; children, Angela (Frank) Heinz of Dalzell and Stacey (Crystal) Mouzon of Kingstree; grandchildren, Earl “BJ” Jones, III, Preston Mouzon, Caroline (Justin) Steen, Donovan (Cassie Head) Mouzon, Matthew Mouzon, and Alexis Mouzon; great grandchildren, Braelynn Mouzon, Ryleigh Mouzon, Trevor Steen and Justin Steen, Jr.; siblings, Doris (Steven) Amerine, Rosie Osborne, Janie Branham, Paul (Debbie) Ray, Mary (Donald) Shelley and Larry Ray.
Mrs. Mouzon was preceded in death by her siblings, Maybelle McKnight, Curtis Ray, Roy Ray and Johnny Ray.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at The Little White Church, 288 Easler Hwy, Greeleyville, SC 29056.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at The Little White Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
