Mrs. Gail Schramm Tedder, 71, of Scranton, wife of John Tedder, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Gail was born on September 11, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of Jean Shelper Schramm and the late Harold Schramm. She was a member of Matthews Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church and loved her church very much. Mrs. Tedder was a nurse in the US Army, during the Vietnam Era and continued her nursing career for 35 years.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, John Tedder of Scranton; daughter, Jennifer M. Tedder of Scranton; grandchildren, Alan (Megan) Kirby of Union, Destiny Kinard and Alisha Kirby, both of Scranton; mother, Jean Shelper Schramm; siblings, Jay (Vickey) Schramm and Liz Tedder; 15 nieces & nephews; Matthews Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church Family.
Gail was predeceased in death by her father, Harold Schramm; nephew, Paul McCutcheon; 5 sisters-in-law & 2 brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, SC.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 East Highway 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC 29591.
