Garrett Ian Baxley, 18, died Saturday, July 10, 2021, at his residence.

Garrett was born on February 20, 2003 in Florence County, son of Amber Charlene Nesloney and the late Casey Lanier Baxley. Garrett loved to smile and sing along with gospel music. He was happy all the time, enjoyed riding in the car and watching cartoons. He loved to pray and thank God.

Surviving are his grandmothers, Evelyn “Sissie” Baxley of Coward and Terri Poston of Johnsonville; siblings, Zachary Austin (Christy) Baxley, Mason Thomas Baxley, Abree Rece Baxley and Carlee Alayna Baxley; step-mother, Rebekka Baxley; and great grandmother, Sallie Bartlett.

Garrett was preceded in death by his father, Casey Lanier Baxley; and his great grandmother, Hazel Baxley
