Mr. Garry Leo Feagin, 78, husband of Carolyn Feagin, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
Garry was born on September 6, 1947, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Juanita Smith Feagin and the late Leo Feagin. He was a graduate of Hebron High School and a retired truck driver with Nutrien in Kingstree. He attended Bethel Baptist Church, loved joking around, going out to eat, and relaxing on the front porch. Classic cars were one of his great passions—most of all his white T-Bird, which he and Mrs. Carolyn were especially proud of. He enjoyed playing with his 4 Jack Russell dogs.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Carolyn Thomas Feagin of Scranton; step-daughters, Heather L. (Timmy) Matthews, Cynthia L. (Billy) Leach, both of Scranton and Tabetha L. (Jay) Cerceo of James Island; seven grandchildren, John Matthews, Ashlee Matthews, Bryce Leach, David Leach, McKinlee Leach, all of Scranton, James Cerceo and Genevieve Cerceo of James Island; niece, Kerry Feagin; and nephew, Shane Feagin.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Sandra Miles Kipp, Lea Monica Feagin; brothers, Dempsy Feagin, Wade Feagin and Barney Feagin.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
