Gene Driggers

Hagood Eugene "Gene" Driggers, 62, died Monday, January 18, 2021, at his residence.

Gene was born on May 14, 1958 in Charleston, son of the late Hagood Jasmine Driggers and Betty Jean Huggins Driggers. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a heavy equipment operator for Mac Construction in Shallotte, NC. Gene loved to hunt and fish, but most importantly, he got saved, Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Surviving are his siblings, Cheryl Davis of Scranton, Joe (Pam) Driggers of Johnsonville and Wayne (Susie) Driggers of Felton, Delaware; brother-in-law, Arthur Davis of Scranton; special nephew, Shane Davis of Scranton; nieces, Rebecca Kelley of Columbia and April Driggers of Felton, Delaware; great niece, Tallulah; great nephews, Jackson and Bertrum.

Gene was preceded in death by his brother, William Henry "Billy" Driggers, II.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Ricky & Traci Huggins, Liza Howell and the McLeod Hospice Staff for their care and concern for Gene and our family during this time.

A Celebration of Gene's Life will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the home of Ricky & Traci Huggins, 1029 Twin Lakes Road, Cades, SC 29518.
