George McKenzie

George McKenzie, 67, died Friday, October 25, 2019, at his residence, after an illness.

Mr. McKenzie was born on December 19, 1951 in Florence County, son of the late Lecco McKenzie and Eliza Floyd McKenzie.  He was a member of Pinedale Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Rachel McKenzie and son-in-law, Eddie Davis, both of Pamplico; sister, Ann Polk of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Kelsey Riggs, Lacie Riggs and Hayden McKenzie; great grandchild, Kathryn-Alaina Gamble; nephew, Allen Parker; niece, Sonia (Adam) Parnell; and a special friend, Gail Coker.

Mr. McKenzie was preceded in death by his brothers, Dexter McKenzie, Tommy McKenzie, Jimmy McKenzie and Buford McKenzie.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Pinedale Cemetery, Turbeville. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the funeral home, prior to the services.
