Mr. Gerald Neal Weaver, 62, husband of the late Jennifer Rice Weaver, passed away in the final days of 2025.
Mr. Weaver was born on October 24, 1963, in Lake City, SC, son of the late Jerry Legrand Weaver and Anna Maurice Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was employed by Palmetto Engineering at the time of his passing. He was a solutions-driven people person. The son of a tobacco farmer, Mr. Weaver grew up troubleshooting and fixing anything that broke. He carried that mentality throughout his life in logistics, fiber optic cable, fireproofing, construction, landscaping, and his personal life.
Most of all, he loved the Lord. He loved the Lord and his family with all he had. He knew the Bible and he was happy to teach anyone that would listen. He was overjoyed to share the gospel every chance he had.
Surviving him are his daughter, Caroline (Garrett) Hall; sons, Garrett Weaver and Joshua Weaver; brother, Billy (Julie) Weaver; sister-in-law, Judy Weaver; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hall; sister & brothers-in-law, Kathryn (Richard) Honour, Karen (Eric) Thomas, and Garry Rice; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Weaver; his parents, Jerry and Maurice Weaver; brothers, Glenn and Elbert Weaver; and brother-in-law, Lee Rice.
Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 3:00PM Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Carolina Funeral Home, (215 US-378, Scranton, SC 29591).
Following, there will be a graveside prayer and goodbyes at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery (165 N Bethel Rd, Scranton, SC 29591).
