Geraldine Barr Obituary

Geraldine Floyd Barr, 78, wife of William Junior Barr, died Monday, January 17, 2022.

Mrs. Barr was born on December 1, 1943, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Roy Floyd and Catherine Parker Floyd. She was a member of Cades Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Barr enjoyed crafts, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a devoted Christian lady.

Surviving in addition to her husband, William Barr; daughters, Cynthia (Travis) Barnett and Donna Michelle Penland, both of Turbeville; grandchildren, Tiffany Jade Hunter, Leslie Brooke (Troy) Austin, Harrell Landon Altman, Kayleigh Danielle (Austin) Hunter, Noah Ryan Whitlow, Carter Dylan Altman, Chase Braden Altman; great grandchildren, Cameron, Destiny, Jace, Carson; sister, Mary Emmaline Garris of Scranton; brothers, James Laverne (Nita) Floyd of Lake City and Linwood (Ruby) Floyd of Timmonsville.

Mrs. Barr was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral services will be private to include family and close friends.
