Glenda Marie Morris

Mrs. Glenda Marie Morris, 53, of Cross, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at MUSC, Charleston.

Mrs. Morris was born on March 17, 1971, in Florence, SC, daughter of Glen W. Morris and the late Gladys “Joyce” Joiner Morris. She was a graduate of Stratford High School in Goose Creek and was a dedicated stay at home mom to her son. Later in life she earned her CDL and spent some time on the road and most recently she was a paralegal at the Anastopoulo Law Firm.

Surviving are her father, Glen W. Morris of Fayetteville; son, Christopher (Payton) Cantrell of Summerville; sister, Bridgette (Rodney) Scott of Miami, FL; nieces, Jessica Benevides-Caron of Kennebunk and Natalie Scott of Boston; nephews, Chris Simons of Somerset, Eric Benevides of Attleboro and Alex (Noy) Scott of San Diego.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her siblings, Cynthia Benevides and Richard Benevides.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, Coward, SC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
