Griffin Austin Fenters, 24, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, from injuries sustained from an accident.
Griffin was born on April 26, 2000, in Florence, SC, son of Barry Fenters and Lisa Tyler Fenters. He loved to hunt & fish, spending time with his friends & family, especially with his son Kashten.
Surviving is his son, Kashten Gauge Fenters; parents, Barry & Lisa Fenters; brother, Reed Fenters; aunts and uncles, Burt (LaGay) Fenters, BeBe Fenters, Pam (Donald) Miles, Mary Anne Hyatt (Joe Bell) Marlow, Linda (Leo) Miller, Tim (Linda) Tyler, Patty (Brad) McKissick and Rodney Tyler; numerous cousins and extended family members.
Griffin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bennett Fenters & Mary Hyatt Fenters; maternal grandparents, John Tyler & Gracie Moore Tyler; uncle, Ben Fenters.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 East Hwy 378, Bypass, Scranton, SC, with burial to follow at Lee Cemetery, 2430 McCutcheon Road, Lake City, SC.
