Hal Carter

Halford Winslow “Hal” Carter, 63, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at McLeod Regional Hospital, Florence.

Hal was born on September 25, 1958, in Williamsburg County, son of Lula Brown Carter and the late Halford W. Carter. He was a retired textile worker. Hal was an animal lover and enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music.

Surviving in addition to his mother, of Lancaster, are his son, Warner (Ashley) Carter of Scranton; grandchildren, Brendon Carter and Ryan Carter; step grandchildren, Christopher Hinson, Haven Hinson and Holden Hinson; brother, Wendell (Allison) Carter of Lancaster.

Hal was preceded in death by a twin brother, Al Carter.
