Mr. Harrell Cox, 76, of Pamplico, husband of Brenda Cooper Cox, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Cox was born on December 31, 1947, in Williamsburg County, son of the late E.J. Cox and Mazielene Hughes Cox. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Cox was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church and he greatly enjoyed singing gospel music and playing his guitar. He retired after 20 years from Service Motor Co in Pamplico.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Brenda Cooper Cox of Pamplico; children, Tony (Elissa) Cox of Fort Mill, Kelly C. (Michael) Pope of Andrews, Merritt (Amy) Evans of Pamplico and Jason (Gina) Tindall of Hemingway; brother, Carol (Annette) Cox of Hemingway; sisters, Elwyne Norton of Johnsonville and Deborah (Steve) Cox of Pamplico; sister-in-law, Frances Cox; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Cox and Larry Cox.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
