Harvey Larue "Danny" Culick

Harvey LaRue “Danny” Culick, 53, husband of Ann Culick, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his residence after an illness.

Danny was born on October 2, 1968, in Florence County, son of Harvey Lewis “Dankey” Culick and Virginia Lee Byrd Culick. Danny was a #1 First Class lineman for Sumter Utilities, worked for Langston Brushing and mowing and was a welder. He was a hard worker and loved to hunt and fish. He loved the Lord, his family, his children and his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Ann Culick, are his parents, Dankey and Virginia Culick of Lake City; son, Daniel Allen (Kacey) Culick of Lake City; step-daughter, Tracey (Jeremy) Ganes of Turbeville; step-son, David Floyd, Jr. of Scranton; grandchildren, LillyAnn Culick of Lake City, David “Doodle” Floyd of Scranton, Gabby Ganes and J.C. Ganes, both of Turbeville; sisters, Shannon (Chuck) Shady and Meninea (Anna) Culick, both of Lake City; brother, Joey (Trina) Culick of Barrineau; nephews, Dustin (Britney) Shady, Steven (Alyssa) Stone and Devon (Amber) Culick, all of Lake City, Eli Culick and Ashton (Kelly) Culick, both of Barrineau; nieces, Angel “Bootsie” Culick of Lake City and Zoey Culick of Barrineau.

Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Culick; sister, Wendy Culick and niece, Laci Shady.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Floyd Chapel Cemetery, with visitation to follow.
