Henry "H. B." Billy Miles

Henry Billy "H. B." Miles, 91, husband of the late Mary McDonald Miles, died Friday, December 6, 2019, at his residence, after an illness.

Mr. Miles was born on August 28, 1928 in Florence County, son of the late William Preston "Press" Miles and Esther Matthews Miles. He was retired from Milliken Industries of Kingstree and attended Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Mr. Miles enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his children, Gloria Miles (Willard) McKay of Timmonsville, Wayne Miles of Scranton, Billy Ray (Teresa) Miles of Timmonsville and Sharon Miles (Phillip) Brehm of Scranton; grandchildren, Joey (Brandi) McKay, Amy (Jason) Webb, Erin (Rocky) Strickland, Sumer (Brian) Pritchard, Zachary Miles, Ryan (Taylor) Brehm, Nicholas Brehm and Noah Brehm; seven great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Tedder; brother, Jerry Miles; and a number of nieces and nephews.  

Mr. Miles was preceded in death by his sister, Lillie Mae Miles and brothers, Randolph Miles and Bo Miles.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
