Ms. Herlene Rauch Gaymon, 83, of Florence County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.
Born on September 10, 1941, Ms. Gaymon was the daughter of the late Charlie Rauch and Juanita Lee Rauch. She was a proud graduate of Lake City High School and a devoted member of Terrells Church of God of Prophecy for many years.
Ms. Gaymon was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her faith in God and family. She brought joy to those around her and was always ready with a kind word. In her leisure time, she enjoyed working puzzle books, reading devotional books, playing bingo, and treating herself to milkshakes.
She is survived by her loving son, Charles (Brenda) Gaymon of Timmonsville; grandchildren, Kevin (Melany) Gaymon of Cheraw, Kimberly (Chris) Chavis of Effingham, Bobby (Sydney) Yarborough, Jr. of Timmonsville, Melissa (Brandon) Yarborough and Matthew (Shannon) Yarborough, both of Coward; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Lewis Rauch of Scranton; special cousin, Suzanne (Orel) Lee of Timmonsville; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Gaymon was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Gaymon; grandson, Derrick Gaymon; and brother, Wilber Rauch.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to take place at Matthews Cemetery in Coward.
