Hunter "Chop" Austin Lee, 21, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at his residence.
Hunter was born on July 12, 1999 in Florence, son of Clay Lee and Priscella Ysasi Lee. He was a graduate of East Clarendon High School where he lettered in varsity baseball and football. Hunter was a lineman helper with Duke Energy and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing ball.
Surviving are his parents, Clay and Priscella Ysasi Lee of Lake City; brothers, Blake Lee and Evan Lee, both of Lake City; maternal grandparents, Frank and Connie Ysasi of Scranton; paternal step grandmother, Janice Lee of Sumter; paternal great grandmother, Margaret Yarborough of Scranton; aunts and uncles, Lionel and Jennifer Ysasi of Scranton, Michelle Ysasi of Florence, Tommy and Donna Lee of Cades; special friends, Joseph Coker and Peyton McKenzie; and an extended number of family and friends.
Hunter was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Diane Lee; and paternal grandfather, Jerry Lee.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2020, prior to the service at the funeral home.
