Irene Parker Foxworth, 87, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at her home in Kingstree.
Mrs. Foxworth was born on November 17, 1934, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Hannibal Christmas and Lucille Miles Feagin. She was first married to the late Jackson T. Parker and then to the late Wesley Foxworth. Mrs. Foxworth attended Cades Pentecostal Holiness Church with her first late husband, Jackson T. Parker and then attended Lake City Church of God for many years with her second late husband, Wesley Foxworth. She attended and was a member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, until her health declined. She was a special lady to all who knew her, she always had a smile and a warm hug. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, her family and her extended family.
Surviving are her son, Ronald E. Parker (Daisy) of Greenville; step-children, Frances Spring (Larry) of Lake City, Mary Jane Kirby (Legrand) of Scranton; Teresa Bennett (Willie) of Turbeville; Joyce Patrick (Timmy) of Cades; Nita Sims (Ricky) of Scranton and Bobbie Jo Parker (Roger) of Lake City; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Lee Feagin (Runette) of Kingstree and Willie Joe Feagin of Kingstree; sister, Jeanette McAllister (Billy) of Kingstree; special niece and caregiver, Wanda Lynch (C.H) of Kingstree.
Mrs. Foxworth was preceded in death by her brother, W.A. Christmas; twin sister, Corine Kirby; sister, Ruthalee Christmas; step-granddaughter, Tanya Clemons.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, May 21, 2022, Saturday, at Carolina Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Floyd Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
