James Edward Miles, Sr

James Edward Miles, Sr., 63, husband of Cynthia Miles, died Friday, June 12, 2020 from injuries sustained in an accident.

James was born April 18, 1957, in Columbia, South Carolina, son of Margaret Martin Miles and the late Reverend Carl Edward Miles. He was a graduate of J.C. Lynch.  

Surviving include his wife of 39 years, Cynthia Eaddy Miles of Hannah; children, James "Jae" (Erica) Miles of Coward, Emily (Larry) Parker of Hemingway and Jamie Miles of Graniteville; grandchildren, GraceLynn Miles, Cody Miles, Maverick Miles and Carllee Parker; mother, Margaret Miles of Coward; siblings, Gary Miles of Effingham, Billy Joe (Gail) Miles of Socastee and Robbie (Rhonda) Miles of Lake City, Bertie Mae Carraway of Coward and Marie (Al) Kissiah of Greenwood; mother-in-law, Peggy Eaddy of Hannah; brother-in-law, Lynwood (Sandy) Eaddy of Florence; sister-in-law, Kaye Stone of Hannah; numerous nieces and nephews. 

James was preceded in death by a son, Lee Edward Miles; brother, Steve Miles; father-in-law, Eddie Lee Eaddy and a brother-in-law, Gary Stone.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, June 15, 2020 at Union Baptist Church, 1101 Hwy 378 – Hannah, Pamplico, SC 29583.
