James "Eddie" Evans Obituary

James Edward "Eddie" Evans, 59, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Eddie was born on June 13, 1960 in Florence County, son of the late Dexter L. Evans and Frances Bailey Evans. He was a member of Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. Eddie was a salesman for Darlington Packing Co. and enjoyed working in his yard.

Surviving are his daughter, Brooke (Jake) Chamberlain of Lake City; son, Hunter Evans of Coward; grandchildren Jackson, Andie and Georgia Chamberlain, all of Lake City; sister, Mary E. "Sissy" (Russell) Smith of Lake City; nieces, Kellie (Wade) McKenzie and Melissa (Jamie) Sullivan, both of Lake City.

Eddie was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Evans.

Graveside services will be Private.

Memorials may be made to Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2019 S. Friendfield Road, Scranton, SC 29591.
