James Henry Lamb

Mr. James Henry Lamb, 74, husband of Linda Moulds Lamb, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Lamb was born on October 5, 1951, in Florence County, son of the late Ernest Lamb and Kathleen Hutchinson Lamb. He worked as a welder and pipe fitter until his retirement. Mr. Lamb was a simple man who enjoyed deer hunting.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Linda Moulds Lamb; son, Timmy (Callie) Lamb; daughters, Jennifer Kirby and Kala (Justin) Poston; grandchildren, Walker Kirby, Wyatt Kirby, Madalynn Kirby, Emma Kate Poston, Rivers Poston and Jay Reed; great granddaughter, Lena Reed; mother-in-law, Shirley Perdue; sister-in-law, Sheree, her husband CN, and son, Matthew Dennis; special nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by brothers, Sidney Lamb, Murphy Lamb and Travis Lamb; nephew, Chris Dennis.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.
