James "Jim" Woodward Caulder, Jr.

James Woodward "Jim" Caulder, Jr., 71, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Caulder was born on January 22, 1950 in Columbia, son of the late James Woodward Caulder, Sr. and Ruth Register Caulder. He was a graduate of Dreher High School and Midlands Technical College in Columbia. He was a retired HVAC Master Technician. He was a proud Christian man, who enjoyed visiting people and was always the first to extend a helping hand without hesitation, and he never met a stranger.   Jim was a faithful Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Tamara Stack Caulder of Florence; sons, James W. (Mandy) Caulder III, of Pamplico, Joshua Lee Caulder of Gilbert, Phillip Cecil Caulder of Timmonsville and Brad Durant Caulder of Florence; grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, William, Ethan, Landon, Zachery, Ava, Jackson, Dylan, Maddie, Amber, Dixi, Caroline, Autumn; great grandson, J.J.; and sister, Linda (Harry) Vermullen of Columbia.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 23, 2021 at Florence National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Home.
