James Marion Lee

James Marion Lee, 47, husband of Sarah Odom Lee, died Monday, May 24, 2021, at MUSC Health in Florence.

Marion was born on April 3, 1974 in Florence County, son of Iva Mae Lynch Lee and the late Jessie Morrell Lee. He was a member of Gilead Free Will Baptist Church and attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Marion enjoyed cooking, working on and restoring old cars and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Odom Lee of Lake City; mother, Iva Mae Lee of Coward; children, Samuel Lee, Tristan Lee and Haden Lee, all of Lake City; siblings, Jessie (Sylvia) Lee of Coward, Don (Ashley) Lee of Lake City, Nancy (Laverne) Elmore of Coward, Lois (Scott) Coker and Peggy (Allen) Dennis, both of Scranton; numerous nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Cody and Cynthia Odom of Lake City; mother of his children, Tara Lee of Lake City.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.
