Obituary
Mr. James “Jamie” Dewey McKnight, 62, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Millennium Post Rehabilitation in Lexington.
Mr. McKnight was born on August 5, 1962, in Sumter County, son of the late Margaret Milligan McKnight. After his mother’s death Jamie was adopted by his uncle the late James Robert McKnight. He was well known throughout the High Hill Community and he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
Surviving are his brother, David (Griselda) Milligan of Florence; sister, Ouida Gail Trader of Sumter; nephew, Robert Trader and niece, Margaret Milligan.
Mr. McKnight was preceded in death by his step mother, Ann McKnight; nephew, B. J. Trader.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
