Jeffrey J Powell

Jeffrey J. Powell, 57, husband of Cathy Gibson Powell, died Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Conway Medical Center.

Mr. Powell was born on September 23, 1962 in Conway, son of Joseph Elisha Powell and the late Johnnie Ard Powell. He was a project manager for Full Steam Ahead Restoration. Mr. Powell attended Fellowship Church and was a board member of Hebron Colony Ministries. 

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Gibson Powell of Conway; father, Joseph Powell of Pamplico; daughter, Cassie (Andrew) Brown of Conway; son, Brandon (Ashley) Cole of Conway; grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Anna-Claire Brown, Jasmine Ivey, Autumn Ivey and Nolan Cole, all of Conway; and an aunt, Sherill Tyler of Lake City.

Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Ard Powell; sisters, Diane Driggers and Susan McCrae; paternal grandfather, Liston Powell; paternal grandmother, Sadie Belle Powell; maternal grandfather, Laney Ard and maternal grandmother, Edith Ard.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2020, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Pamplico.
