Jenny (Barfield) Gerald

Mrs. Jenny Barfield Gerald, 70, of Scranton, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Mrs. Gerald was born on April 15, 1955, in Florence County, daughter of the late Harvey Barfield and Louise Miles Barfield. She was a devoted homemaker, loving mother, and proud 'GiGi' to her granddaughters. She especially treasured taking trips with her granddaughters to the mountains, where they made memories filled with laughter and love.

Surviving are her sons, Patrick Gerald and Brandon (Kasey) Gerald, both of Scranton; grandchildren, Kelcey Gerald, Carley Gerald and Cameron Matthews; special sister, Pat (Roger Dale) Miles.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.
