Jeraldine (Coker) Cagle

Mrs. Jeraldine Cagle, 81, widow of Reverend Joseph L. Cagle, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at her home in Pamplico, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Cagle was born on October 9, 1941, in Florence County, daughter of the late Brady James Coker and Jessie Powell Winchell. She was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Cagle was the New Prospect Christian School secretary for over 20 years. She enjoyed cross word puzzles and game shows on tv. 

Surviving are her children, Michael (Karen) Cagle and Scott (Shelly) Cagle, both of Pamplico; grandchildren, Terica (Ray) Stone of Johnsonville, Lance (Danielle) Cagle of Pamplico, Zachary Cagle and Anna Cagle, both of Johnsonville; great grandchildren, Sydney (Donald) Ard, Braydon Stone, Addyson Cagle and Caleb Cagle, all of Pamplico; brothers, Ronald Coker and Steve (Nora) Coker, both of Hemingway; a number of nieces and nephews; caregiver, Torie Miller of Hemingway.

Mrs. Cagle was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Reverend Joseph L. Cagle; brother, Wylie Coker and sister, Viola Reasor.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, with burial to follow at church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023, at New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.
