Jessica Nell Belflower

Miss Jessica Nell Belflower, 33, of Scranton, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Lake City/Scranton Healthcare Center.

Jessica was born on February 16, 1993, in Florence County, daughter of the late Sylvia Tonn Godwin. Jessica loved attending school at Lester Elementary, South Florence Junior High School, and South Florence High School. She was a light to the world and always wore a smile on her face. Jessica enjoyed coloring, drawing in notebooks, dancing to music, and savoring her favorite foods, especially hot dogs and Coca-Cola. She attended church at Lake City United Methodist Church, where she loved giggling in Sunday School and listening to the choir sing.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Lake City Scranton Healthcare Center for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Jessica.

Surviving are her twin sister, Katie Belflower; many first cousins and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Lake City United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, with funeral services to follow at 3:30 PM in the sanctuary.

Burial will follow at Lake City Cemetery.
