Mrs. Jessie Fee Floyd, 95, wife of the late Johnnie W. Floyd, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at The Benton House, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Jessie Fee was born in Clarendon County on September 10, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph Pearlie Coker and Pearl Thigpen Coker. She was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as the Ladies Auxiliary President and a Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Jessie Fee was chosen as a delegate for the IPHC General Conference. She was a dedicated soloist and choir member at the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church for 78 years. In 2021, she sang at the South Carolina Pentecostal Holiness Church Campmeeting at the request of Bishop Greg Amos.
Surviving are her children, Johnnie Faye (Dickie) Smith of Effingham, Ollie Mae “Lou” (Gerald) Truluck of Quinby, Bobby (Anne) Floyd of Greenville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Randall) Graham of Chapin, Dana Neuen Camp of Summerville, Kimberly Thomason of Simpsonville, Tracie (Joe) Thigpen and Kristy (Wade) Hudson, both of Florence, Amy (Stuart) Reynolds and Lisa (William) Baumhofer, both of Greenville; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Ray (Angie) Coker of Lake City.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Elizabeth Floyd; son-in-law, Leland R. Neuen; grandson-in-law, Jeff Thomason; brothers, Wardell Coker, Durant Coker, Joseph Pearlie “JP” Coker; sister, Oree Taylor.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lake City, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
