Johnny G. Lee

Mr. Johnny G. Lee, 87, of Barrineau Community, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.

Mr. Lee was born on October 15, 1937, in Florence County, son of the late Lloyd Lee and Ella Parrott Lee. Mr. Lee retired from Korn Industries, a furniture manufacturing company. He attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—farming, working in his garden, and caring for his bees. A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, some of his favorite moments were spent watching the games on television alongside his beloved wife, Betty.

Surviving are his children, Clay Lee of Lake City, Sinkie Driggers and Joye (Kit) McLean, both of Scranton; grandchildren, Maxi (Lee Ann) Lee, Ryan Lee, Madison Lee, Kelly Driggers, C.J. Driggers and Kimberly (Anthony) Graham; great grandchildren, Madalynn Baxley, Austin Baxley, Ella Graham and Marley Lee; sister, Pearcy Lee Floyd; along with other extended family.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce Floyd Lee; son-in-law, Mark Driggers; siblings, Hoyt Lee, Gene Lee, Monroe Lee, Ida Mae Lee, Babara Keisler, and Bell Floyd.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with private burial to follow at the church cemetery.
