Joseph Turner Obituary

Joseph Delion Turner, 75, husband of Laura Harris Turner, died Friday, January 15, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Turner was born on August 22, 1945 in Florence County, son of the late William Joseph Turner and Anne Christian McGee. He was a graduate of Hannah Pamplico High School, Class of 1966 and worked maintenance for Delta Mills and custodian for Commander Nursing Home. He enjoyed watching football and old westerns.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Harris Turner of Pamplico; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Turner of Pamplico; son, Randy Delion Turner of Pamplico; grandchildren, Nathaniel Edwards and Ashlynn Michelle Turner; siblings, James McGee of Florence, Jody McGee of Timmonsville and Linda Adams of Wilmington, NC; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by a brother, Willie McGee and a sister, Mary Jo Rowell.
