Josh Allen Wise

Joshua Allen "Josh" Wise, 30, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at his residence in West Columbia.

Josh was born on February 12, 1991 in Florence, son of Timothy Allen Wise and Latrelle Ard. He was a graduate of Wilson High School and Attended South Florence Baptist Church. 

Josh was one of the most free spirited souls I knew. He was a friend to everyone and his family was his everything. Josh was the person you could always go to. He could keep a secret, make you laugh, and always knew just what to say to make your bad days good ones. He could make a bad situation good and he was the best at finding the positive. My whole life all I wanted was a sibling. I would always pray for one and add them to my Christmas list. As I got old enough to start to understanding more, I realized, I had a brother in you. You are the best one I could have ever had and our time together here was cut to short - Haleigh

Surviving are his mother, Latrelle Ard; father Timothy Allen (Yvonne) Wise; sisters, Elizabeth Grace Wise, Savannah Worrell, Victoria Worrell and Haleigh (Jacob) Gaskins; nephew, Jake Gaskins; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Pansy Ard; paternal grandmother, Barbara Hanna Wise; aunts, Trina (Scott) Evans and Fonda Wise Smith; uncles, Quint Ard and Wade Wise.

Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Oliver O'Neal Wise.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 1, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, October 1, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
