Obituary
Judy Elaine Medlin, 77, wife of the late John William Medlin, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 4, 2023, at her home in Florence.
Mrs. Medlin was born on February 6, 1946, in Marshville, NC, daughter of the late Willis Aldridge and Lona Belle Threatt Aldridge. She was a member of Johnsonville First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the WMU and GA Leader. Mrs. Medlin was a former Girl Scout Leader and formerly worked with the Housing Authority. She loved her family and God and always put them first before all things.
Surviving are her children, James William (Elizabeth) Medlin of Florence and Wendy Medlin (Robbie) Thomas of Cades; grandchildren, Jonathan Hunter Medlin, Chandler Austin Medlin, Zachary Ryan Medlin, Ellie Grace Medlin, all of Florence and Sara Grace Thomas of Cades.
We would like to also mention the 2 wonderful caregivers that took care of Mrs. Medlin; Debbie Woodberry and Kaitlyn Lindquest.
Funeral services will be private.
