Julius Michael Sisk, Sr., known to many as "Red Dog", left this world on Monday, August 19th, following an extended illness. He was born on May 17, 1954, to Dewey Bostic Sisk and Lorena "Rena" Howell Sisk Driggers, who later married Mike's stepfather, Dexter Driggers.
Mike lived the majority of his life in Johnsonville, South Carolina, where he graduated from Johnsonville High School in 1972. He then studied Drafting Technology at Florence Technical College, before beginning his career at International Paper of Georgetown, South Carolina.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, his sister Carolyn Sisk Baxley, and his brother Laurice "Wayne" Sisk. Surviving are Mike's two children, Julius Micheal (Kelly) Sisk of Landrum, and Lora Michelle Sisk of Little River, along with five grandchildren. Also surviving are Mike's partner Julie Hargrove and her children, Charles Falkenmeyer, Amy Falkenmeyer, Jennifer Allen, and grandchildren; and Mike's brothers Dewey (Angela) Sisk, Danny (Ginger) Sisk, and Tony Driggers.
A graveside memorial service will be held, 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
