Karen Elizabeth Williamson

Karen Elizabeth Williamson, 63, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at her residence.  

Mrs. Williamson was born on March 3, 1961, in Charleston, daughter of the late Harry Willis Wise and Alice Brooks Wells Wise. She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and worked as a loan officer. Mrs. Williamson was known by her family as the “Amazon Queen”. She loved animals and was a loving mother, sister and grandmother.   

Surviving are her children, Justin (Megan) Barrineau, Celeste (Garrett) Haynes and Stephen Williamson; grandchildren, Austin Barrineau, Payton Barrineau, Haley Haynes, and Britton Haynes; furbaby, Toby Dean Williamson; siblings, Deborah (Edward) Rowell, Lisa (Kevin) Wise-Hardin and Timothy Jerome Wise; step brothers, Pastor Randy (Cathy) Stone and Terry Stone; nieces, Kaitlyn Hardin, Brett Ashley Elliott, Hope Wise, and nephew, Shane Wise

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery, Pamplico.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
