Kathleen (Poston) Robinson

Mrs. Kathleen Poston Robinson, 88, wife of the late William "Buddy" Murray Robinson Sr., died Friday, May 21, 2021, at MUSC, Florence.

Mrs. Robinson was born March 19, 1933, in the Hannah Community, a daughter of the late Joseph Lonzie Poston and Daisy Ridenhour Poston.  She was a graduate of Hannah High School, Florence School of Nursing and retired from nursing. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, Sumter, WMU, and American Legion Post 15 Auxillary. Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife, mother and nana.

Surviving are her three children, Joseph "Joey" Edward Robinson and his wife, Linda, of Sumter, Pamela R. Hyman and her husband, Charles, of Pamplico and William "Billy" Murray Robinson Jr. of Charleston; three granddaughters, Megan Kathleen Hyman, Kelsey Hyman (Drew) Shamblen and Caroline Grace Robinson; and a grandson, T.J. McLean; sisters, Betty Jo (Bennie) Eaddy, Carolyn Floyd, Jean (Jack) White, Florence Poston and Jeanette (Glenn) Melton; brother, J. L. Poston; and her beloved fur baby, Millie.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo Poston and Norman Poston; and sisters, Allie Poston Tarte, Judy Poston Hanna, Georgia Lee Turner, and Creola Poston.

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Pamela Hyman, 756 W. Shirley Road, Pamplico.
