Kathy Turner Moore

Kathy Turner Moore, 73, of Pamplico, SC, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2024, while visiting her great granddaughter in Illinois.

Kathy was born to the late Willard “Doll” and Leola Hicks Turner on February 14, 1951 in Florence County.  She was a member of Prospect Methodist Church on Big Swamp Road in Pamplico, SC.

Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth “Ken” Moore; her children, Brookshire “Brooks” Cooper Moore, II and Elizabeth “Liza” Katherine Thackrey; her daughter-in-law, Haley Moore; her grandchildren, Andrea Thackrey, Cates & Taylor Thackrey, Waker Moore and Katy Bell Moore, great granddaughter, Adelynn Thackrey; her siblings, Sybil Locklair, Willa Jean Singletary and Marion & Annette Turner; her sister-in-law, Betty Rose Collier; brother-in-law, Brooks “Boo” Pascal Moore; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Turner.

Please join us in Celebrating Kathy’s Life & Legacy, beginning with the family receiving friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Prospect Methodist Church.
