Kenneth L. Wilkes

Mr. Kenneth L. Wilkes, 70, husband of the late Mary Vin Floyd Wilkes, passed away peacefully at his home in Olanta on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Mr. Wilkes was born on April 4, 1954, in Florence County, son of Mrs. Wyane Porter Wilkes and the late Eustil Wilkes.  A hardworking man, he was a retired construction worker who devoted much of his life to providing for his family.

Surviving are his son, Kevin (Gloria) Wilkes; mother, Wyane Porter Wilkes; grandchildren, Madison Grace Howell, Brandon Wilkes and Dylan Wilkes; brother, Steve Wilkes; niece, Kimberly McLaughlin.

Mr. Wilkes was preceded in death by his son, Brad Wilkes; siblings, Johnnie Wilkes, Sammy Wilkes and Kathy Wilkes.

As per Kenneth’s wishes, there will be no service.
