Kevin Ray Brown

Kevin Ray Brown, 56, husband of Betty Sue Weatherford Brown, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his residence.

Kevin, also known as "Bucky", was born on November 4, 1964, in Florence County, son of the late Walter Ray Brown and Gladys Burnette Brown. Kevin attended New Prospect F.W.B. Church and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the APA Pool Association and loved Karaoke. He loved Clemson Tigers, fishing and cooking, in which he was famous for his Barbeque. Kevin adored his grandchildren, who called him, "Pop Pop". He was a good dad, grandfather and husband.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his daughters, Kelsey Brown (Adam) Driggers of Scranton and Kara Brown of Pamplico; grandchildren, Easton Lane Driggers and Naten Lee Driggers, both of Scranton; extended grandchildren, Matthew Lane Wise and Sara Grace Wise, both of Effingham; brother, Kent Brown (fiancée, Lucille Feagin) of Coward.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tracy Lynn Brown.    

Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Carolina Funeral Home.
