Kevin White

Van Kevin White, 67, husband of Vickie Clement White, died Monday, April 25, 2022 at his residence in Lake City.

Kevin was born on May 1, 1954, in Hamlet, North Carolina, son of the late Gratten Lee White, Sr. and Loree Harris White. He was a graduate of Rockingham High School and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Kevin was a professional military dog trainer and professional bird dog trainer for over 50 years. He loved and enjoyed the great outdoors.

Surviving in addition to his loving, devoted wife of 34 ½ years, Vickie Clement White of Lake City; children, Jamey Rupard of Florence, Jason White of Hephzibah, GA, Travis (Amy) Rupard of Barrineau, Haley White and Jessica White, both of Lake City; grandchildren, Madison Rupard, Ollie Lee, Sullivan Lee and EmmaLee Rupard; siblings, Gratten Lee (Sally) White, Jr. of Hendersonville, NC, Marlene Kemble of Rockingham, NC, and John (Brittany) White of Hamlet, NC; father-in-law, Hennis Clement of Claudville, VA; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Randy) McCuiston of Mt. Airy, NC and Gail Smith of Claudville, VA; brother-in-law, Steve Clement of Claudville, VA; special aunt, Annie Grace Turnage of Rockingham, NC; special friend, Kristen Barefoot of Lake City; several special nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Gratten Lee White, Sr and Loree Harris White; sister, Della Sue White and mother-in-law, Juanita Hall Clement.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 E. Hwy 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC 29591.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home.
