Mr. Larry D. “Buck” Gaymon, 66, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at his home in Evergreen, surrounded by his loving family.
Buck was born on January 1, 1959, in Florence County, son of the late Marshall Gaymon, Jr. and Vergie Jenkins Gaymon. He attended Amanda Pentecostal Holiness Church and Freedom & Liberty Worship Center, where he was involved in so many of the activities. He was a great guy and loved people and people loved him. Buck never met a stranger, was a very pleasant person who always had a smile on his face. He loved to color, going to the adult daycare, playing golf with the guys and being with all his friends.
Surviving are his siblings, Joyce Fields of Effingham, Dorothy (Phil) Pierce of Timmonsville, Carol (Jerry) Purvis of Darlington, Henry (Leon’a) Gaymon of Rockingham, NC and Wanda (Ted) Kohler of Evergreen; numerous nieces & nephews.
Buck was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Gaymon and Danny Gaymon; maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to AJ’s Transport, Daily Living Daycare and Mr. & Mrs. Robbie Epps.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Garden of Memories, Amanda Circle, Pamplico Hwy, Florence, SC 29505. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
