Larry Dwaine Nettles

Mr. Larry Dwaine Nettles, 76, husband of Diane Tedder Nettles, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, in Danville, Virginia.

Larry  was born on March 22, 1949, in Florence County, son the late Dwaine Nettles and Helen Jones Nettles.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather to his girls.  Larry’s life was a testament of love, patience, and unwavering faith. His love of family was an ever-present fact, demonstrated though his continuous support and uplifting of those closest to him. He served the Lord and was a dedicated member of his church.  He worked in apparel and embroidery manufacturing until his retirement. His favorite pastimes were reading and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Diane T. Nettles; daughter, Stephanie (Joel) Harrison; granddaughter, Megan (Nathan) Delman; great grandchildren, Maddie Delman and Hailey Delman; sisters, Pansy (Wayne) Ard and Rose Fenstamacher; brothers, LeRoy (Nancy) Nettles, Deleon Nettles and Joe Nettles.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation of family and friends will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward, SC.
