Legrand Hill

Mr. Tillman Legrand Hill, 78, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Mr. Hill was born on February 12, 1947, in Florence County, son of the late Monroe Jesse Hill and Essie Lynch Hill. He was a retired welder with Vulcraft and Superior Machine. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.  

Surviving are his twin sons, Robbie M. (Dana) Hill and Ricky (Deana) Hill; grandchildren, Bridget Parker, River Hill, and Amber Hill; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Nell Powell, Karen Hill, Sharon H. (Edward) Gray; and his four-legged companion, Bo.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Hill; siblings, Kelly J. Hill, Levon Troy Hill, Randall L. Hill and Ronald Owen “Ronnie” Hill; fiancé, Gaye Armstrong.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.
