Leon Collins Dangerfield, 73, died Friday, February 19, 2021, at Regency Hospital in Florence.
Mr. Dangerfield was born on January 2, 1948 in Berkeley County, son of the late Leon Dangerfield and Hattie Mae Fiddie Dangerfield. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. Mr. Dangerfield retired after many years of service from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and then at Short Stay Naval Recreation Facility.
Surviving are his son, Scotty (MaryAlice Young) Dangerfield of Coward; grandchildren, Ashley Dangerfield of Loris and Noah Dangerfield of Coward; great grandchildren, Keely McClam and Talyn McClam; sisters, Betty Seyfer of Winter Haven, Fl, Hazel Fennell of Moncks Corner and Mary Walker of Goose Creek; a special uncle, Jimmy Fiddie and brother-in-law, Eugene Walker.
Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
