Mrs. Frances Leona Broach Lee, 81, wife of the late Richard Kertlen Lee, went on to be with Jesus, Friday, July 12, 2024, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.
Mrs. Lee was born on March 23, 1943, in Florence County, daughter of the late James Robert Broach and Janie Bell Lynch Broach. She was a longtime dedicated member of Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was active in the ladies auxiliary and was a former Sunday school teacher. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir and for many years she traveled and sang with The Richard Lee Singers. Mrs. Lee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing.
Survived are her children, Mitch (Mary) Lee of Manning and Rod (Tammy) Lee of Lake City; grandchildren, Kristen Lee, Joshua Lee, Katelyn (Landon) Southard; step-grandchildren, Reva Miles and Cameron Miles; great grandchildren, Madyson Daniels, Mayson Daniels, Savannah Kelley and Lainey Grace Southard; step great grandchildren, Jaxon Miles and Liston Miles; sisters, Annette Todd and Betty Evans; brother, Bobby Broach; special great niece, Alyssa Ross.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a grandson, Mitchell K. "Red" Lee, Jr; brothers, Rev. Robert Levon Broach and James Edward “JE” Broach; infant sister, Virginia Broach.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Camp Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the church.
