Linda Marie Hopkins, 56, wife of Paul Hopkins, passed away, Thursday, June 10, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Hopkins was born on September 6, 1964, in Florence County, daughter of Kenneth Leverne Cook and Wanda Worrell Cook. Linda was a retired operator of House of Rayford and attended Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed softball, motorcycle riding, boat riding and decorating for Christmas. She was everyone’s “NANA” and she loved her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Paul Hopkins; children, Terry (Ashley) McDaniel and Dalton, (Adrienne) Hopkins, both of Johnsonville, Eric Andrew Hopkins of Sumter, Evie Cheneynne Hopkins of Friendfield, Ashley Renee (David) Cruz of Sumter and Laverne (Ashley) McDaniel of Coward; grandchildren, Raven Marlow and Peyton McDaniel, both of Johnsonville, Amya Cruz and David Cruz, both of Sumter, Pierce Hopkins and Ayden Hopkins, both of Johnsonville, and Addison McDaniel of Coward; grandson, Cleo McDaniel of Scranton; siblings, Carol Cook Matthews of Friendfield, Hilda Cook Kelly of Johnsonville, Bridget Cook Greer of Coward and Miriam (PeeWee) Chockley of Coward; a lot of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hopkins was preceded in death by her grandchild, Nevaeh Cruz.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, June 14, 2021 at Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
