Linda Faye (Evans) Kirby (Flowers)

Linda Faye Kirby (Flowers), 66, died Sunday, October 25, 2020, at MUSC Health- Florence Medical Center.

Mrs. Kirby was born on July 20, 1954, in Florence County, SC, daughter of the late Needem Evans and Elvera Flowers Evans. She attended J. C. Lynch School and was a member of Faith Holiness Church. Mrs. Kirby was a loving mom, grandmother and a special aunt that loved spoiling all of her grandkids. She was first married to Carey Lee Jeffords and then to the late William "Little Bill" Kirby.

Surviving are her companion, Cecil Flowers of Scranton; daughter, Kaye Kirby of Scranton; son, Danny (Melissa) Jeffords of Shawsville, VA; stepchildren, Karen (John) Turner, Randy Kirby and Glen Kirby; grandchildren, Carissa (Jamie) Carneal, Danny (Taylor) Jeffords, Jr., Daphne (Timothy) Harless, Ernest (Kyle) Jeffords, Savannah Driggers, Judson Driggers, Ellie Driggers and Danielle Driggers, Lucas (Sarah) Welch, Ashley (Jason) Hayes and Judas (Benn) Hogg; step-grandchildren, Jason Kirby and Curtis Kirby; twelve great grandchildren; three great step-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; siblings, Helen (Carrol) Miles and Winston (Elwood) Evans, both of Scranton; special nieces and nephews, Bucky and Christy Matthews and Tammy and Ronny Lee.

Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her husband, William "Little Bill" Kirby; siblings, Harry Lee Evans, Fleming Evans, Bobby Evans, Betty Rose Carmon, Katie Howle and Junior Evans' and a stepchild, Kale Kirby.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Matthews Cemetery, Coward.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
