Ms. Linda Gail Evans Lee, 55, of Lake City, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center.
Ms. Lee was born on January 2, 1970, in Florence County, daughter of Betty Floyd Evans and the late Clarence Winfred “Shorty” Evans. Mrs. Lee was a graduate of East Clarendon School and attended Williamsburg Technical College. She attended Floyd Chapel, loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with children. She especially enjoyed barbecuing and proudly carried on her granddaddy’s tradition. Known for her caring heart, she devoted her time to helping others as a caregiver.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Clarendon County Fire and Rescue for their kindness and assistance.
Surviving are her mother, Betty Evans of Lake City; son, Nicholas (Chelsea) Lee of Olanta; grandchildren, Haven Lee and Abram Lee; brother, Marty (Denise) Evans of Lake City; nephew, Benjamin Galloway of Lake City; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family; special friends, Sue Watford and Lahoma Floyd McCutcheon.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, and at other times at the home of Ronnie and Ann Parker, 1158 New Town Road, Lake City.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
